Are you in crisis?

I do not operate a crisis service, but lots of help and support is available out there for you right now.  You can photograph the numbers in the box to use and keep with you, or you can use any of the numbers or web addresses set out below.
Please don't despair, help is closer than you might imagine or realise.

PAPYRUS - Tel/text 07786 209697

www.papyrus-uk.org

CALM - CAMPAIGN AGAINST LIVING MISERABLY - Helpline: 0800585858  www.thecalmzone.net

SAMARITANS - All calls to the Samaritans are free of charge (116 123), but they also have a website that you might find helpful:

www.samaritans.org

The NHS website offers the following advice and information:

  • call a GP – ask for an emergency appointment
  • call NHS 111 or get help from NHS 111 online – they will help you find the support and help you need
  • contact your mental health crisis team – if you have one

Is your life in danger?

If you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose – or you feel that you may be about to harm yourself, call 999 for an ambulance or go straight to A&E.

Or ask someone else to call 999 or take you to A&E
